From what we saw on our most recent trip, this is the prevailing situation in cities, towns & villages scattered all throughout Mexico who have been reliant on selling arts, crafts and other location specific products. It was evident in the larger areas such as Tonala and Tlaquepaque, the medium sized cities such as San Miguel de Allende, Patzcuaro and Dolores Hidalgo and the smaller towns like Santa Clara del Cobre or Cuanajo in Michoacan. It made me sick when I saw evidence of "opportunists" taking advantage of the business downturn by demanding lower pricing of these artists barely making a living. Regards, Neil Albuquerque, NM
