Organ Donation in Mexico

Can't Post |
Many of you may be wondering how to register as an organ donor in Mexico. Well, the process has just become even easier. The National Transplant Center in Mexico (Centro Nacional de Trasplantes) has all the information you're looking for at its website -- http://www.cenatra.gob.mx/

With this month's Telmex bill are enclosed donor cards. And they're also downloadable at http://www.cenatra.gob.mx/...d/Credencial_WEB.jpg

Would you like to register online? Go to http://www.cenatra.gob.mx/...y/PHP_Voluntary2.php

This doesn't just apply to Mexico. But, I've often wondered at what age is organ donating no longer an option. If otherwise healthy, can a person's organs be useful at age 60? 70? I have no problem with being an organ donor; but, for example, I have highly corrected eyesight. Would my eyes be of any use?

Hi Jennifer

Hope you are still on-line.

I have a question for you. Are there many transplant patients in the area? Is there a way to get information on post-transplant patient care?

Thanks
