When I got up at 6:00am this morning, I did so wish I could sleep in, but I drug myself to my building project where I stayed until after dark. When the guys asked if they could have tomorrow off, I could hardly say YES fast enough!

I love mid-week holidays.

We completely forgot about the holiday and ventured out this morning to do a few things, only to be caught in a world class traffic jam. A parade was forming somewhere and every street within miles, it seemed, was blocked off. By early afternoon, drivers were frustrated and really cranky. Thanks to various entertainment tents set up in strategic locations, folks were a lot more mellow this evening as they made their way home. Viva Mexico!
