This looks like a great site, I'm glad to be here. I was hoping someone might be able to tell me what kind of challenges I will face if I plan on marrying a Mexican National if I have children from a previous marriage. We have decided that we are really wanting to make Mexico City our home. He owns a home there now. I have been given some feedback on ways to get through the marriage part easier but can't seem to find out what would need to be done to make it legal for my kids to live there. I know that I need a notorized letter from their father to visit but is that all I would need for us to live there or is there a lot more forms that I would need to fill out for them?

You and the children will need FM-3's to live legally in Mexico. I don't know what paper work you will need in the U.S. to legally move your children out of the country, since you are divorced.

You can find information about FM-3's on this website. Use the search engine.

You need to talk with your divorce lawyer to find out what US legal restrictions you may have with the children. Then you need to visit the Mexican consulate serving the area where you live to find out what paperwork they will require.

Here is a list of Mexican consulates in the USA: http://www.mexonline.com/consulate.htm

There is a lot more information on MexConnect. Explore and use the Search commands -- both the one on the forums and the one on the Home page.
