As of October 1, 2013, Mexican Federal law requires that all vehicles have insurance. "The changes to the law establish penalties and fines of between 20 and 40 days of minimum wage to drivers of vehicles who cannot show proof of an insurance policy that ensures payment to third parties for any damages that may arise in their goods and persons in case of (accidents)." ... 20-40 days of 2013 DF minimum salary => es decir de $1,295.20 a $2,590.40 pesos aproximadamente. "If a vehicle does not have an insurance policy, the authority (police) impose a fine of between 20 and 40 days of the minimum daily wage, and the fine would be canceled if insurance coverage is later proven within a period not exceeding 45 days." Original quotes: "... ... I am still looking for the D.O.F. citation from last March/April that lists the details, steve - Read-on MacDuff E-visit at http://yucalandia.com
