A quick note to let you know that "Mexico News Seminar" returns in July. This two-week workshop is conducted online and examines the evolution of the Mexican press and how topical issues are covered in national and foreign press today. The seminar will be conducted online between July 5-16
The seminar will appeal to English-speaking professionals who need a better understanding of the often-murky Mexico news scene and enlighten those who are not familiar with the rise and fall of El Independiente or need to know the difference between the editorial stance of Reforma and La Jornada.
Conducted online via email, the seminar will be instructed by Tom Buckley, former managing editor of Mexico City-based The News and author of the monograph Interpreting Contemporary Mexico: How the Media Cover Mexico.
