This document may also be listed elsewhere on MexConnect, but I just came across it and thought I'd post the link here, for the benefit of those of us who are not so hot in Spanish. Note well that it makes clear foreigners are not to participate in Mexican politics in any way, including taking part in demonstrations. I thought for sure a bunch of U.S. citizens now residing in Mexico would be deported after the demonstration in Juarez last weekend, over the unsolved murders of hundreds of women, but I haven't heard anything about it. Anybody have any news about the aftereffects, if any, of that demo, which grew out of the organization that evolved from "The Vagina Monologues" stageplay productions? Jane Fonda and a lot of U.S. celebrities were involved. http://www.llcc.cc.il.us/gtruitt/SCJ290spring2002/mexico%201917_constitution.htm Carol Schmidt
