Mexican Plant and Wildlife

Would anyone care to recommend books on birds, animals, and/or plant life of Mexico? Particularly useful would be information in English as well as Spanish, and photos a big plus.
Thanks!

A previous thread on the plants part of your query can be found by using the "Search Posts" function, with the key words "Mexican plants".

I've been able to locate these:

Birder’s Mexico Roland H. Wauer Originally Published as Naturalist’s Mexico. 1999.Author discusses different regions and can be read as a travel narrative. Has some B&W photos, but not of birds. Extensive reference section.

Field Guide to Mexican Birds and Adjacent Central America – Roger Tory Peterson & Edward L. Chalif I have the 1973 edition.

Mexico – Adventures in Nature Ron Mader 1998
“…descriptions of Mexico’s land and natural features plus practical information about accommodations and restaurants.” “Details on where to hike, snorkel, dive, see endangered, sea turtles, bird-watch, and more. Local guide and tour operator recommendations...”

Tropical Mexico – The Ecotravellers’ Wildlife Guide Les Beletsky 1999
Contains lots of color plates of habitat, birds, fish, mammals, reptiles.. Endorsed by the Wildlife Conservation Society.
