Is anyone on this board familiar with Leon? In particular has anyone ever seen or visited the Cinnabon franchise in that city? TIA

Ha ha, strange question? Unusual perhaps. The reason I am asking is this: I have been asked to consider investing in a Cinnabon franchise elsewhere in Mexico. As part of my research I thought I'd try to find an opinion from someone who has been to the one in Leon. So let me please ask if you often patronize Cinnabon there and when you have been there did it seem to have many customers? Thanks.

I think it would be popular in Leon, but it's located in a new shopping center that has not been very successful. The Cinnabon prices are high for Mexico, where pastries, etc. tend to be quite cheap, but the people seem to love "American" products--Starbucks is booming in Mexico City. In any case, in the right location, it would probably do well--even the one in Leon may be making money since labor is so cheap.
