I sent an international Money order to my inlaws yesterday via Fedex. For $1000 or less through my credit union the cost of the money order was $.50.
Fedex was $25 - "large employer discount"
First, will Banamex take a percentage off of the top when it is deposited there?
Second, what percentage of letters sent via the USPS to Mexican Post office arrive in reasonable amount of time? This sounds more scientific than hearing about a mishap here and there.
Third off subject, I notice that in St. Louis city where I work that there were 10,000 cars stolen in the city itself out of a population of 160,000 men assuming that men steal 95% of all the cars. This seems alot lower than Mexico City where I want to rent a car in July on a visit. But, we always here horror stories and headlines here and how dangerous it is to drive based on stories instead of "real data"
