This is the last of Ian Campbell's UPI article series "Inside Mexico". http://www.upi.com/...0031016-122156-2908r I have found Mr. Campbell's UPI writing on Mexico to be very informative, and I was especially encouraged by writing about the working poor and his insider visits to a rural village - rare stuff for a professionally trained economist. I thought it impressive that a western economic writer lived in Mexico (Queretaro) and reported from the inside. I haven't a clue where the economic reporters and other writers in the USA get there data, but I suspected from press release handouts. Mr. Campbell's report data about rural working poor economic life was the only data I ever read that remotely matched what I heard from immigrant Mexicans and from their families in Mexico - and it was right on..... to the peso. I will be watching and hoping that Mr. Campbell's writing about Mexico appears soon both in economic analysis and in a book about the migration. Tom Gibbs
