Does anyone know the laws regarding bringing in used equipment ? I'd like to bring my catamaran down to Sayulita. It looks pretty rough, it's an old Hobie cat on a rusty old trailer. I would appreciate anyone's knowledge of import duties on used stuff such as this sailboat, tools like welders, cement mixers, generators, etc... All my stuff is ugly and beat up, I'm guessing that helps with any potential valuation . I'm hoping to build a house on my lot in Sayulita and I'm debating the merits of doing some of the work myself or a least bringing a cement mixer so the trabajadores can work more efficiently.
I own a bicycle shop and also want to bring some used bikes down to regalar (give to) my friends in Sayulita. I'm curious about import duties on a pickup truck load of beat-up looking used bikes. Anybody out there have any useful info for me, I sure would appreciate any advice.
