FM3 document return.

I had an FM3, and left México in May 1997, hoping to return soon. However, I never did return, and did not turn in my FM3. I am planning to return in 2004 and would like to know if anyone has had any experience with how much of a problem may be.

Your old FM-3 is expired. Don't throw it away.

When you apply for a new FM-3, whether at the Mexican Consulate or at INAMI, you will be be asked about prior migratory documents. Acknowledge the old FM-3, producing it if asked. There ought not be a problem.
