Does anyone have information of how the viewing of the eclipse will be in the south of Mexico? And the best times to view?

I have a note on my calendar for tomorrow night....11:30p to 1am....but I wouldn't rely on that since I can't remember if I adjusted EST to Central time. I think I did. I'm in central Mexico, but I believe all of Mexico will have a good view if you're enjoying clear skies.

I'm sure Sr. Google has all the answers.

The shadow starts its passage at around 11:30 a.m. CST Tuesday, and the total eclipse reaches its peak at 2:17 a.m. CST.

There is a site called Mexican Skies (http://mexicanskies.com) which is loaded with astronomical information in regards to Mexico, including this eclipse.

Hello all,

Rolly doesn't need to apologize even to our esteemed and overworked mexconnect.com webmaster. All of us can be groggy at times and if the webmaster, groggy from overwork, needs to ask (even tongue in cheek) if an eclipse of the moon is at 11:30 AM or PM he needs a bit of rest.

Happy Holiday.

As ever, jerezano

I got even dumber last night. I stayed up 'till almost 2:00AM to watch the thing.
Well, damn! The moon was directly overhead, and I got a crick in my neck trying to look at it.

It was early this morning.

We got up at 3 a.m. to see it almost completely "eclipsed"--and
stayed up till 4 watching it UN-eclipse.

Full bright moon and starry night here in San Miguel.

We even got the added gift of seeing a meteor streak
past the moon!

Beautiful and spectacular, even though we only had
binoculars to view it with.

Happy Solstice and Happy Holidays!
