December Issue of Mexico Connect . . .

Bienvenidos y Feliz Navideña!

The December issue of Mexico Connect is all ready and has it all.

From an in-depth review of the Lake Chapala situation, to what goes on behind the ring before bull fights; from learning a second language to a scholarly review of the indigenous peoples of Oaxaca; and from Bass fishing in Mexico's waters, to 500 kilos of raging bull in the streets, you will find more than one jewel of information.

In homage to this celebratory season of family, friends and good cheer, the Christmas in Mexico feature section is certainly worth perusing.

I also would like to introduce two new exciting and informative monthly Columns: "Know the Law in Mexico" by Adriana Perez Flores; and "Falling in Love with San Miguel de Allended" by Carol Schmidt. You will also discover a new Forum, dedicated to Sinaloa/Mazatlán.

May you all enjoy this season with passion, joy, health and safety.

You just keep besting yourself, David.

But what about the other news in this month's issue? Like Michel Benoit of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, winning a weeks' stay at La Nueva Posada http://www.mexconnected.com/...est/nueva/index.html?

And even better -- a Christmas gift of Teresa Kendrick's "Mexico's Lake Chapala and Ajijic: The Insiders Guide to the Northshore for International Travelers" to every new subscriber. What better Christmas gift than to give a year's subscription to MexicoConnect? http://www.mexconnect.com/...tion/signupinfo.html

I have several people (NoB) who I know would love a subscription to Mexconnect and the Forums, and I am seriously considering Christmas presents to them. My question is, Who gets Teresa Kendrick's super book on Lake Chapala and Ajijic? My Scottish ancestors ask if the book, which I have and love, does the copy go to me to send as Christmas presents to friends up north (NoB) or does it go to the person who is already getting the wonderful subscription??
Just wondered. Am ordering the Mexconnect subscriptions which ever way the wonderful book goes.

Hola Peggy;

Good questions.

When a new subscription is created, the email address used in creating the account will receive a message asking where the book is to be sent. And, of course, the book will be mailed to the address thus provided.

If you are interested in obtaining a block of accounts as gifts, just let me know and I can arrange things.
(Hint - a block of 5 will receive a 6th account free)
