Construction cost of home in Oaxaca, Mexico.

I am planning to move from central U.S. to the Oaxaca area of Mexico.

I would like to get an idea of the cost of construction for a simple Mexican (purhaps Adobe exterior) new home with two bedroom, with water line, sewer, and electrical connection.
Probably would have tile floor inside and with or without a
basement. The area would be about 800 sq ft or 75 square meters for the living area.

Perhaps someone would have an idea of an average cost based on a square meter basis. The cost of course would exclude the cost of the land to be purchased previously.

The home would be built in the vicinity of the city of
Oaxaca.

Would appreciate those with any ideas on this subject.

Run a search on MexConnect using the search string "construction costs" and you'll find a post from a couple of weeks ago on this subject. The costs per square meter are for Guadalajara and the cost per house (obviously more general) are nationwide averages. I hope that will help.

Someone else may also have more specific cost data for Oaxaca.
