Can somebody look up a phone number?

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but directory assistance for Mexico City can't seem to find a number for Hotel Casa de la Condesa...which may or may not be located at Plaza Luis Cabrera 16 in Col. Roma Sur. (It's web site gives no phone number -- go figure!)

I would be eternally grateful if somebody would send me the number(s) for any hotel that has Condesa in its name. I have a reservation SOMEWHERE, but I can't locate any clues among my own records (madness).

Busy signal twice, "no such number" recording three times.

What is it with Mexican LAN lines? Did Carlos Slim sabotage the entire telecommunications infrastructure so that everybody would be addicted to cell phones? NOTHING WORKS.

I found an ad for it with these numbers: 5584-3089 and 5574-3186. You'll have to add the country code/area code.

Condesa Haus http://condesahaus.com/; or, (Hotel) Condesa DF http://www.condesadf.com/ (one of the most annoyingly pretentious hotel websites, ever).
All generalities are suspect, including this one.

Anonimo - I'm not sure that is the hotel the OP is seeking - the numbers I gave are for a hotel with the street address he gave - you are certainly right about those websites - how over the top,

AHA! 5584-3089 was it. Thank you bournemouth!

I have searched high and low for this phone number. It is Casa de la Condesa, just as I thought, and believe it or not, they don't show their phone number anywhere on the web site. (When I told the guy at the front desk, it came as a surprise!)

And you're right, Anonimo, those websites are pretty obnoxious.

All this effort was to retrieve my hotel deposit because I'm too poor to spend Christmas in D.F. this year (lástima). But muchas gracias to you guys for rescuing my $$$...

Actually, the music on the Condesa Haus site is pretty cool.

We usually stay at the Hotel Milan, on Av. Álvaro Obregón, across from Casa Lamm, when in Colonia Roma Norte. It's moderately priced, modern and unpretentious.
All generalities are suspect, including this one.

You're right, and the place itself looks pretty hip, but it would destroy my budget. Thanks for the Hotel Milan tip also.
