Bringing insulin and syringes across

My cat is diabetic and requires insulin injections. Will I have a problem bringing these supplies into the country? I'll have a letter from my vet stating the need, etc.; maybe that'll help. Thanks, Mike

I doubt you will have a problem. You can buy those things over the counter in Mexico.

Hi Mike,

Once again, Rolly is correct on both counts. Two months ago I came down with a whole mess of medications issued by the VA, including Procrit, which has to be refrigerated. I just tossed most of it in a bag on top of clothes, the procrit in a ziploc in my ice chest, and made no effort to hide anything. No problem when inspected by Aduana.

Also just bought my needles down here. No prescription, no hassle.

Shameless self-promotion:
