Aval	Can't Post \| Private Reply

I have been hanging around Morelia for several weeks and am now trying to rent a house or apartment. They are available but I keep bumping into the problem of needing an aval (more or less a co-signer of a lease) which I don't have. Other must have had the same problem. Any advice?

An aval is usually a family member or employer, so lacking that you may have to pay a large deposit or pay several months rent in advance. This is a negotiable item, but one well established in Mexico.
