First a BIG FAT THANK YOU to y'all for all your help and for answering my silly questions.

And now one more question since I'm on my way to Ajijac in 30 days with a few suitcases and a smile.

I'm looking for an reasonable ($US 50/night) B&B downtown with Internet access for my first 2 weeks. I'll stop at the LC Society to get more info for future rentals.

Any suggestions? Any birders out there?

Directly across the street from the LCS is Hotel Casa Blanca, which has free high speed Internet access for all guests of the hotel. The hotel is beautiful, the owner (Joseph) and his wife are great, and the service there is all you could want. It would be my pick.
