(Cross Post ) New photographic trip needed

Can't Post | Private Reply
After several trips to SMA to photograph I am in need of new work. I sell my work at a number of retailers but it’s been a year since I have brought back great Mexican work. I have driven in the past but with 99.00 trips to about anywhere, its hard to pass up flying, the only problem is carrying my photographic gear. I would love to drive my own car but it will put 4days of travel that will be wasted.

Where should I go??

Please look at my website to view my Mexican portfolio and you will have an Idea of my style. Mainly architecture, simplistic or minimalist objects, some journalistic, lots of color!!! But very little landscapes. I love to explore hidden out of the way places also.

I have looked at Durango/Oaxcan adventure starting in Leon, Maybe skirting to the coast in a few spots. I have only 9-14 days to complete the trip.

How are the rental cars? Insurance? Rip-offs? Any tips

If you shoot my style where you go www.billgiffen.com

Thanks for any help or Ideas, Bill Giffen

Bill:

Great photographs, compañero! Have you considered the Veracruz area(you can fly into the City of Veracruz), and take pictures of my home city of Xalapa, then the villages of Xico, Coatepec, Naolinco, Teocelo, Tlacotalpan, San Andres Tuxtla, Coyolillo, Alto Lucero, Jicaltepec, Nautla, Perote, Altotonga, etc., etc., etc. I have thousands of pictures of this area, and wish I had time to take more!!!!! ¡Suerte y hasta pronto!
