Hello,
My family and I are moving to San Miguel in Aug. and I am needing a good english speaking attorney in Mexico that can set up a corporation for me to start a small business. I would appreciate any referrals.

Although I currently I live in Dallas I am assuming that I could use one from almost any major city. I met one in San Miguel that I liked but he was quoting me $2,500 US just to get me started... my $400 an hour attorney in Dallas only charged me $700 + fees for my last corporation. :) If someone could tell me what they have paid or what I can expect - that would help as well.

I am also looking for an affordable attourney to help me set up a small business in Mexico. I am in Austin, TX now and finding it hard to get good information that I can use when I actually get there.

He and his firm specialize in this type of thing. All of his clients are foreigners. He's good, so he's probably not the cheapest, but it's worth making the call. He speaks excellent english. The firm is in Tijuana. Good luck.
