Hi, I am new to Mex Connect, but not new to Mexico. Italian in origin, I now live and work in the United States. I am looking for reliable, trustworthy, people to source and send Mexican silver jewelry to me on a weekly or biweekly basis. I have a shop in the United States, and wish to expand into kiosks in the NYC/NJ area (and hopefully beyond). I also have 2 relatives in Europe who sell there as well. I am a niche buyer, looking for older, vintage, Mexican pieces( although I would not necessarily refuse top quality new items, for me, the older items are what I can sell). Everything has to be of superb quality, and well priced ( the disparity in currencies allows for this... there is no reason for it not to be profitable on both ends). My objective is to supply top quality , vintage silver, at reasonable prices, and compensate with huge volume. I am not looking for somone who wants to "get rich selling one piece", but rather someone with the philosophy that they can do very well by supplying volume. I have lived in Mexico,and made buying trips into Mexico City and Taxco, so I know it is possible. I currently buy from 2 people living in Mexico, but the volume isnt sufficient, since they are students and do not have much spare time.I want this to be a long term endeavor, and hope to be building my business for the next 30 years. I am not someone who is looking to "hit and run". You need to have a computer, and be able to send jpegs of what you are selling. I can teach you about silver quality and workmanship, as well as send jpegs of the types of items I am looking to purchase. I would pay with PAYPAL, so transfer of money would not be a problem( you would need a Paypal account), and the items could subsequently be shipped via DHL or UPS. I realize there is a trust factor involved with an unknown person posting to a board, so we would start very slowly....trust is built over time. I would love to find at least one person in the Mexico City area, since there is a wonderful taller there whom I wish to buy from on a regular basis( please keep in mind I am looking for several people).
