Could someone tell me when Mexican state governments change officials. I know Gov. Patricio Martinez will be leaving his post as governor of Chihuahua at the end of this year. Question is, when did he take office?

The term of office for Mexican governors is 6 years, the same as for president. Not all states change government in the same year. Governorns leaving their post this year came into power in 1998.
