Hi, I am looking for a mexican supplier of furniture-residential-shabby chic (if anyone understands what that is)-cottage style-distressed, looks old. Must be unfinished. Any help?

Do you need this for Mexico or for export? There are hundreds of furniture tallers - from rustic to very fine. The simple pine furniture sounds like basic shabby chic to me. You don't say what area you live in. That would help.

Western Michigan, Grand Rapids area. For export to us. We are a little "picky" as to the look and could help some manufacturing company with that if they needed it. 60's/70's style with a few twists. Pine is not the best but could work depending on the type of pine. Best is Alder or Basswood because of the way they accept finishing. Must be unfinished because the finishing techniques are what give us the look we are after.

Ideally, a Mexican manufacturer with distribution in the states and someone we can work with is best. Initial volumes would low so whoever we hook up with needs to understand that.

Thanks for your response, any help we can get is appreciated we are rookies when it comes to bringing product in from out of the states but we are looking for PRICE because the finishing is very labor intensive.
