Farming in Mexico

Can't Post | Private Reply
I am looking for a reliable farmer who has experience growing cauliflower, broccoli, spinach, lettuce and romain lettuce. First I need to know which area has the best climate to grow these vegetables and produce grade A year round vegtibles. My goal is to export these vegetables to the USA. Does someone have any idea's.
Thank You,
Elip

In what part of Mexico are you planning this?

I would really do it anywhere in Mexico as long as the climate is best for growing these type of vegitibles. I presently have a different project in Tammaulipas so it would convenient to be nearby but I think the summers might be to hot in that area for optimal growth of these vegetables My next choice would be near Mexico City.
Thank You,

Our family is looking for an opportunity to supply organic vegetables to the Puerto Vallarta area and have been looking in the agricultural areas North of there. For example, outside towns like San Francisco, Lo De Marcos, and La Penita.

The soil and climate there seems good and there is a market for organics at the PV restaurants. Also, the Canadians and Americans in the area have indicated interest in buying organic. We would enjoy looking into export possibilities also.

If we can help you, please feel free to ask. Regards....

I am not really interested in organic vegetables. I am interested in these kind of vegetables and if you have any contacts with good & honest farmers who grow these vegetables then I would be interested. Thank You.
