US to Yucatan ferry?

I am wondering if there is currently a ferry running from Houston or Florida to Progresso? We will be moving from the US to Quintana Roo in the near future, and are hoping this will make our journey a little easier.

This comes up every so often. Various companies have expressed the intention of offering this service, but it never seems to come to pass. It is always just around the corner.

The short answer is that there is no such ferry running today, nor is there likely to be in the near future.
