From piedrazos to tlayudas, the Best of Oaxaca survey addresses specialized niches which makes this place unique.
While "best of" tends to be an overworked phrase -- "lo mejor" prefaces up to a third of Oaxaca City businesses" -- this survey offered travelers and locals an opportunity to discuss the nuances of what makes Oaxaca a special place.
The survey asks about traditional food items, places to visit and distinctive features including city parks and historic trees.
