Taxco December 23-26

My wife, two children (16 & 20) and I will arrive in Taxco 12/23 by bus from Acapulco and continue to Mexico City on 12/26. We are staying at the Los Arcos Hotel. What can be expect to be happening In Taxco over the Christmas Holiday. Will restaurants be open on Christmas Day? My daughter would like to go horseback riding, will likely be available or not?
Any specific information like Christmas dinner at a particular restaurant or a contact for horseback rides, or just general info would be appreciated.

Since no one has responded yet, let me at least take a shot. We have never been in Taxco over Christmas (although we have been there maybe 12 times +/-) so I can't speak specifically to that holiday. But most of the bigger hotels have restaurants that will surely be open, so finding one isn't going to be a big problem. I don't know if any have special Christmas dinners or not.

I will mention that our favorite restaurant in Taxco (although we haven't been there in several years and things can change) was La Ventana de Taxco. It's in a hotel outside of town (Hotel del Solar?). You can get there by taxi from town, it's not that far. Outstanding view of the city, especially at twilight.
