Spas in Costa Maya: Ceiba del Mar any good?

Can't Post | Private Reply
My mother and I ages 75 and 49 are planning to come to the riviera Maya feb.6-16th and were thinking of trying the Ceiba del mar in Puerto Morelos...and would love to try some restaurants in Cancun. Saw Jim's list from a while back, any modifications, Jim? Any advice for first timers? Thanks!

Hi.

You mention both "Costa Maya" and Riviera Maya" which are "brand names" for 2 very different areas. The Riviera Maya is basically from Puerto Morelos down to Tulum and Costa Maya is the area between Tulum and Chetumal--much further south and less developed. I have heard that La Ceiba del Mar is very good but can't give a personal recommendation. As far as restaurants, I think the list is pretty much the same if I remember right. Have a great time!!

Here is a link to 47 reviews of La Ceiba del Mar http://www.tripadvisor.com/...catan_Peninsula.html
