We are planning to head down tomorrow to see what relief we can offer. We are going through clothes and toys to see what we can donate. If you're interested in sending money I have a funded paypal account (no fees so all your donation goes directly there) and credit card Paypal. Of course, without knowing exactly what is needed I personally, wouldn't be sending money to a stranger on the internet. If MexConnect is interested in allowing relief efforts to continue, please post to the thread, otherwise I'm sure a moderator will delete it (assuming I'm crossing the TOS posting this).

local Red Cross reports from today (Chetumal RC is too busy with Chetumal itself)

items needed are

CLOTHING, CANDLES, MATCHES, WATER, FOOD, BLANKETS, HAMMOCKS, GENERATORS, FUEL, utilitarian clothing, non perishable food, candles, flashlights, roofing material, plastic tarps, tents, etc.

Obviously it would difficult if not impossible to send that down here. If you want to paypal with money earmarked for specific items put that in the paypal info. You can paypal funded (non credit card) to dulce@support.net You can paypal credit card to jamnkats@smarteryp.com You are also welcome to snail mail checks to my sister who will deposit them and transfer to my account, email me for info. I'll put a spreadsheet together with amounts donated (I'll use initials instead of names) and materials purchased and post it on my site.

We headed down Sept 5th and 10th to Majahual directly, and handed out 50 dispensas. Yesterday we headed to a Mayan pueblo inland from Majahual and handed out 30 more dispensas. Wednesday we're going back down.
