Does anybody know if there is a Rabbi in Cancun or in the Yucatan that will proceed over a Jewish, but mixed faith wedding in Mexico? I am and American Jew looking to marry a Mexican woman who would like to have a Jewish wedding. We could have it in the easy US, but would like to fulfill our dream on the beaches of Isla Mujeres.
I am aware of the large Jewish, but orthodox, population in Mexico City. But orthodox rabbi's often don't support interfaith marriage.
Maybe somebody has seen a small congregation in the area or knows a retired rabbi?
