Questions for Yucatan Road Trip

1) Where can I rent motorcycles for a reasonable rate for small trips from Cancun to Tulum? 100 to 250 CC would be more than fine.

2) What would be a recommendation for a decent hotel room in Playa Del Carmen? My last trip to Playa was in 1995. (There are three of us going)

3) Any recommendations for activities, etc in the region would be greatly appreciated.

4) What is the price of gas in Mexico now?

Thank you in advance. I will be taking a road trip there crossing over in Brownsville in May.

You can rent them in CAncun but I wouldn´t recommend them personally as too dangerous for such a long trip (2 hours). JMHO

There are tons. A friend of mine just bought the Copacabana...next to 100% Natural www.copacabanaplaya.net I have stayed at several...lots of them available.

Snorkel in Akumal (YalKU Lagoon?) or Xel-Ha, visit the ruins at Tulum (Sunday is free entrance)

4) What is the price of gas in Mexico now?

$5.29 +/- pesos per liter unleaded.

Good luck...drive carefully and not at night.
XM Radio is a must have especially for Mexican road trips.
