Does anyone have a 'favorite' low-key (read budget) place to stay in Puerto Morales or the Paa Mul area?

In Paamul there is only one place with several different accommodations. There is one restaurant and one little dive shop.

Puerto Morelos is a small town, there are multiple restaurants and lodgings. I think if you do a search, you will find some options. I know people who have stayed there, but I have not.

There are plenty of small hotels that cater to Mexican tourists in Playa. They are several blocks off the beach and I think can be had for about 450-650 pesos a night.
