Next week sees the first Official PGA Tour Event to be held outside the U.S. and Canada.
The Mayakoba Golf Classic is being played at the El Camaleón Golf Club at Mayakoba, Playa del Carmen, on the Riviera Maya, 35 miles south of Cancún, from February 19-25.
144 PGA Tour Professionals will compete for a purse worth US$3.5 million.
The course, measuring more than 7000 yards from the back tees, was designed by Greg Norman and is managed by Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. For more information about the tournament, visit http://www.mayakobagolfclassic.com
