It's been a year since the hurricane. I am wondering how a certain place I've visited before, Isla Holbox, is faring. Since it is so remote I never hear anything about it (and that's OK because the longer it stays remote and pristine, the better!). That island is probably no more than 4 feet elevation and "filled" with nice folks. But I'm wondering how they could have survived such a terrible hurricane that "sat" on them for so long. I suspect that the government is not sending them much money (unless Fox has his eyes on the area for development 'after'). Does anyone have any 'information' as to how they might be doing a year-since? Any info would be appreciated.
