Hi all,
Our last trip was to El Bajio this past April. End of next week we head back to the Yucatan Peninsula.
Going to Merida for the first time for a short three nights. Probably not enough, but that is what we are giving it - and one of the days will be spent going to Celestun for my partner, the lover of flamingos, while another one will be spent going to some ruins, a Mayan Museum and to see a small part of the Gulf coast.
from there we head for 4 nights on Isla de Mujeres, a place we have stayed before and enjoyed its pace - especially once the day trippers headed back to the mainland.
Finishing up the trip with a week in Playa, where we'll stay at a condo in North Playa - about 5-6 blocks off the beach.
Looking out my window at the dreary gray Northwest sky, I believe I am ready to go.
