Getting to Oaxaca city from the airport at night

I'd appreciate some advice from those in the know! I'm flying to Oaxaca on Friday January 25 2013, getting in at just after 9pm. I'm aware of the airport van service but I'm just a little concerned that by the time I have collected my luggage, the service will have finished and I will be stranded at the airport.

Can anyone advise me on this? Also, is it possible to book in advance over the internet? I've done some digging but haven't been able to find anything.

My plane arrived at the airport in Oaxaca after 11 pm. There was at least one collectivo still running. I had no problem getting to my destination at a reasonable expense.

In case you've not been before: It would be advisable to be prepared to pay in pesos, and also know some basic Spanish. At the very least, have your destination written out to show the driver.
