In the 2001 edition of THE ADVENTURE GUIDE TO THE YUCATAN, the listing for Gran Hotel is, Calle 60 No. 496 at Parque Hidalgo, tele. 99/23-69-63, fax 99/24-76-22. I hope it is still current. Have a good trip. Marie

I love that hotel! Ask for a room facing the plaza as the street side is noisy. Ask for a room on the 1st or 2nd (2nd or 3rd in US) floors as the wide inside verandas are wonderful. It's a great location, you can walk to anywhere in the centro. Beautiful furniture, high ceilings, great location. Enjoy.

Being a 2001 publication, it would list phone numbers in the old 2+6 format that Mexican phones no longer accept. The voice line number translates to (999) 923-6963 in the current 3+7 format, the fax line to (999) 924-7622. Jonna's number translates to (999) 924-7730.
