Ok Folks - the time has come - I will be driving down to Merida within the next week or two. We have talked about this before - but now I need some specifics AND some folks I can contact along the way if I get in trouble. I will be traveling with 3 dogs and 2 cats (joy joy - but how do you give away geriatric animals?). Hopefully, somebody will know of a few of those motels with closed parking. At the very LEAST, I need to know what towns to expect to sleep in every night. I can probably take it from there. I can't wait to take this trip and post all of the updated details about driving down the east coast here on our forum. Thanks to all for the help you have given me thus far. Yucatan folks are the BEST !!!
