Coffee Statistics

The cooperatively owned Museo de Café in San Cristóbal´s historic center has some statistics compiled by the Association of Indigenous Coffee Growers that some of you might find interesting.

There are approximately 380,000 coffee growers altogether in Mexico of whom 270,000 farm under two hectares. The majority of them are indigenous people.

Major coffee producing states are:
