Ciudad Oaxaca hotels

Looking for a hotel via internet is not always very helpful....therefore, I'm hoping someone who lives in or near Ciudad Oaxaca can help me find the kind of hotel I need.

First, it needs to have secure parking...close to the room or at least within the hotel grounds.
Second, it needs to be priced 700mn to 300mn per nite, double occupancy, during Summer months.
Third, internet in the room
Fourth, reasonably quiet
Fifth, it would be really nice if it had a nice, reasonably priced restaurant.

We're on business travel, so ambience is not a premium. We stayed at the Mision San Felipe, it was nice, but the food BLAND and expensive, and the rates were higher than is good for our bottom line.

I wish I could help you Marianne as we go to Oaxaca at every opportunity but we now stay either in a hotel next to the zocalo that is a bit expensive for your needs or in the small Zapoteco village of Teotitlan del Valle where we rent from friends. There is a hotel and well-reviewed restaurant in Teotitlan that might be up your alley. Teotitlan is about 15 kilometers from Oaxaca City and an easy drive if there is such a thing as an easy drive in the Oaxaca City metro zone. Teotitlan is a very safe place and you would have no difficulty finding excellent secure parking. PM me if you have an interest and I´ll work on my failing memory.
