It seems that supporters of the PRD and PRI don´t particularly like each other in Chiapas so on Sunday, June 27th, a public shouting match broke out between the supporters of each party in the village of Nachig, which is part of the Municipality of Zinacantan just outside San Cristóbal de Las Casas, during which a car driving by the shouting match fired shots at supporters of the PRI killing two participants and starting a full-scale riot. They are searching for the shooters but I wouldn´t hold my breath if I were you.
Chiapas is not a dull state.
