Cancun and Playa shopping questions

Can't Post | Private Reply
I live on Cozumel island. Few furniture stores. Few bike stores. Anyone know of a furniture store in PDC or Cancun where I could purchase those hanging basket swing chairs. Not hanging hammocks. These are made of bamboo or wicker or wood or a combo thereof and have a cushion in them. Someone told me there was a store on the highway just north of downtown Playa that carried them. If anyone is familiar with a store like this, I'd greatly appreciate the help. Also would like to know which stores in Cancun would be likely to carry something like that, Jim, if you know of any.

My other shopping question--Any bikestores in Playa del Carmen? They only seem to carry 3 models of bikes here on Coz and I don't like any of them very much.

Thanks in advance for any input on this.

Lots of bike shops in Cancun---one close to my house by Market 28. Also across from Market 28 is Lourdes Furniture shop--lots of rattan. I have bought furniture there for the ranchito and will be buying more. If I pass by this weekend I will ask--I like those chairs too.

Thanks, Jim. I'd really appreciate it if you'd keep your eyes open. There evidentally used to be a store outside Playa called Rattan de Guadalajara but it's now closed. If you see any of those chairs, check the prices, too, if you would.

Thanks, Jim. Don't wear yourself out or anything. But I sure would appreciate hearing about it if you happen to come across an item like this.
