Art store in Reforma or El Centro North?

I've been looking for art stores that have more promise than the 3 I've been trying -- Frida Kahlo, the one across from Casa de Cultura, and the one on Calzada de Republica in Jalatlaco. I'm looking for a selection of Acrilex Matte colors, and a few blocks of Jovi air-dry clay. There must be a good art store in Reforma, no? Xochimilco? Thanks!

Late response and not sure of your location, but believe you are in MX City.

Lumen is a great art supply source. Costs a bit more, but they have the good stuff. Also tons of different papers, drafting supplies, all types of media. I think you can order online or by e-mail and have things delivered if you are not close to one of their stores.

Here is their store directory and catalog website ( their online offerings are nowhere near what their stores actually carry):

There's an art store on Avenida Benito Juarez, just south of Llano Park, next to the Art/center/school/studio (I believe it has Rufino Tamayo in its name). Maybe walk into the art center and ask if you can't find the product you want. It's not open all the time, but often is. There are art stores sprinkled throughout the city center. Xochilmilco isn't a commercial neighborhood. Dunno about Col. Reforma. Ask an artist?
