Go out Calle Aleman, take a left at the harbor, head towards the mountains as if you are going to the airport. A block BEFORE you cross the estuary, on the left hand side, you'll see the clam store. They have three different species. I like the China clams the best. They also have fresh good oysters. If you buy oysters, pay them the extra money to have them shucked. Otherwise, the clams are easily opened just like the oysters from Louisiana or from the Pacific Northwest. Buy them by the dozen. All Spanish so brush up.
