According to tourism department & rental agencies, Penasco is fully booked for the Easter weekend - except maybe for those that rent out their places privately. In the past year we have seen more visitors arriving. Of course, just before Spring Break the State Department gives a 'warning' about travelling to Mexico, Rocky Point, etc. This year we had the AZ Gov, Jan Brewer, on our side, telling the press she had just been down here and felt perfectly safe. Plus people have been commenting that they are tired of giving up visiting a place they always loved going to because of the 'PRESS'.
Our weather is promising to be 'heavenly' - in the 80s, blue skies and warming waters.
