Hola,
I posted this on another site, but this looks like a better site?

I live in Mazatlan. There are many Canadians here, so I am somewhat surprised that so far it has been difficult to find any Canadian Whiskey except the occasional and most expensive. Can anyone give me a source for a more moderate priced Canadian and/or a store that has a good selection?

A good place to try would be Casa Arias. They have a wide selections of liquors, imported treats, and even have a temperature controlled wine room. It is located on the malecon, Avenida del Mar at the corner where you turn to go to the acuario. You can take the green bus easily or there is parking at the rear of the store.

Go out to one of the RV parks and pick an RV with Canadian plates - there will be plenty to choose from - then make them an offer. I'm sure there are a lot of bottles stashed in a bin or under the stairs. You could probably make a deal and they'd bring you a case every fall.

As a new forum member you have no way of knowing this, but.... you have replied to a post that is about 2 1/2 years old. I suspect that the original poster is dead by now. ;>) The way one can tell the age of a post is to look just below the poster's name to the left of their post. The date/time of the post is right below the 'name'.

Yes. The thread is old. And Xay is new.
However. Any Whiskey, missed back then. But found today. Will be older.
Which Whiskey aficionandos of my acquaintenance. Tell me. T'is a good thing:)
