American-Style Breakfast in Colonia Roma (Norte)

For me, Mexican food is the GREATEST food in the universe and chilaquiles makes for the ultimate breakfast. However, there are times when I crave a good old-fashioned American breakfast. Yes, IHOP and the like are available here in The Big City, but Spice Everywhere has that "home-cooked" touch. This is for those who are looking to check out new American-style breakfast option:

Two more thumbs up for Spice Everywhere! We've brunched there two or three times now, and we've loved it every time. You will, too! The Texas Omelet is huge and delicious, the Eggs Benedict are done exactly right. I have seen but not tried the fried chicken and waffles--oh man! They look fabulous. If you're in the big city and want a down-home food fix, this is the place. Three cheers for Spice Everywhere!

I tried the chicken and waffle breakfast, aka 'Uncle Cletus', and it is now my current fave. On that particular visit, the chicken was fried to perfection and they actually use REAL maple syrup. I didn't see the 'Uncle Cletus' mentioned on their website but it's definitely on the menu.

This Sunday, September 29th, the Spice Everywhere breakfast will be held at Hostel 333, located at Colima 333 in Colonia Roma Norte, only a few blocks from La Condesa. I plan to be there at 10am when the doors open to get a good table. Here is a link with a map: http://hostel333.com
