I think that most folks who were here before are just bidding their time and lurking in the shadows. When you punch up "Who's Online" you wit see that there 5 and 6 times as many "Guests" as there are Registered users.

What it is going to take to get things going again is a few questions and a few controversies.

Where's Pedro et al when we need him?

When you punch up "Who's Online" you wit see that there 5 and 6 times as many "Guests" as there are Registered users.

Holy cow.. I just checked the Who's online" area and there have been 49 guests in the past 15 minutes. Come guys and gals, pony up the 5 or 30 bucks and come on in.

I don't worry all that much about the lake as there is nothing I/we as gringos can do about it.

I kinda like most of the Canadians I've met.

Patty and I really don't mind the roosters crowing in the morning. I get up at 4:30 or 5:00 anyway

I couldn't care less about the wall around the dump.

We don't intend to buy a house right away so the continuing depressed real estate market works in our favor.

I don't own a suit and wouldn't be photographed in one anyway............

.....and, actually, I'm really quite fond of jennifer rose.

I'm still here in sunny Ajijic. Just got my fifth rabies shot today, one more to go in April, they are not painful like they used to be, I've got to go out and pick up my recently dry cleaned blazer, I want to impress Pedro should he come lakeside. I saw Uncle Don today. He looked great.

Now darn it I have to stay in all afternoon and gather all my records. It's tax season again; April 15th in WA and April 30 in BC

Jack,those were dead horses. Maybe a little opinionated but dead stuff. Mary wanted something new.

Try something like, it is nice to not have to hear about the BEEZERS. and the Oriental bikes in this wonderful 100 year Anniversary of the HARLEY DAVIDSON. That TV commercial of the bridge coming down on the boat was right on to let the Harley go through and knock over the boat's mast. The Harley will do better over the Cobble Stone streets in Mexico anytime. A Harley rider for years.

That might even get someone paying just to post a reply. LOL

To answer the question, most of the malcontents (read cheapos) have moved to another website and started a "Mexdisconnected" forum to trash David and the rest of us. I expect their negativity will actually induce some of the more intelligent readers of the other (free) forum to come over and check us out.

It's simply time to start gathering the bank statements, utility bills etc.

FOR ANYONE Seeing this post before about 6 PM in AJIJIC only, today Friday, Master control told me that we can listen to CBC radio 2 out of Halifax at 88.5 FM. (Up North CBH is at 102.7)

And that's a prize well worth winning! In fact, I just returned from a few days there (with my two kids, 14 and 11) and we had a fantas-s-stic time, both in Rincon de Guayabitos and exploring some of those lesser-known places that regulars on this site know I like so much... hopefully, I'll get around to writing about them before too long... but, first, perhaps another tequila to help the creative process,
